OHM!BoBa: bubble tea in a bottle
Bubble tea with popping bubbles, ready to drink. No trip to a café, nothing to boil or stir at home. Open it and drink it.
OHM!BoBa is made in Lithuania. One pack holds 270 ml: 220 ml of drink and 50 g of bubbles. The drink contains 20% juice.
What bubble tea is
The drink, also called bubble tea or boba, appeared in Taiwan in the 1980s. The classic idea is simple: a drink plus chewy or popping bubbles, drunk through a wide straw.
There are two kinds of bubble. Tapioca pearls are soft and chewy. Popping bubbles (or popping boba) have a thin skin and a liquid centre that bursts in the mouth. OHM!BoBa uses popping bubbles.
What sets OHM!BoBa apart
There are three ways to get bubble tea in Lithuania. Here is how they differ:
| At a café | Home kit | OHM!BoBa | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Preparation | You have to go there | Boiling and stirring | Nothing at all |
| How long | Travel plus queue | 20 to 40 min. | Straight away |
| Shelf life | Drink it now | Depends on the ingredients | 18 months |
| Fridge | Usually needed | Not needed | |
| Where it works | On the spot | At home | At work, on the road, at school, at an event |
Because no fridge is needed and the shelf life runs to 18 months, OHM!BoBa works in places with no chilled equipment: petrol stations, kiosks, school canteens, events, offices.
